Welcome to Tinakilly House Hotel and Restaurant
Tí na Coille – House of the Wood – a Victorian mansion steeped in history, Tinakilly was built by the British Government in 1883 for Captain Robert Halpin, Commander of “The Great Eastern” and mariner supreme who laid 2,600 miles of telegraphic cable in 1866, joining Europe to America.

Tinakilly is situated in Rathnew village in Co. Wicklow, approximately 29 miles (47 km) from Dublin Southside and 44 miles (70 km) from Dublin Airport.

We would be delighted to welcome you to Tinakilly House to experience what we hope will be an enjoyable and memorable stay.

St. Valentine’s Value at Tinakilly House
Here at Tinakilly, we enjoy the perfect setting for that romantic weekend away......

- an elegant oak-lined avenue leads up to the house and it’s seven acres of gardens
- comfortable lounges and open fires, nice to sit and relax with a drink and a book
- a candlelit table in our restaurant for a sumptuous dinner
- beautifully appointed bedrooms, some with four-poster beds or views over the sea

We also understand the need for romance at a reasonable price, so we have detailed some special offers for this Valentine’s weekend.
